Playing in tune

Our classes for under 5's are a little bit different. Every class is carefully planned to nurture the innate musicianship of young children.

We know that children learn through play and our classes draw on this through imagination, collaboration and creativity.

The profits made from our Early Years classes support families to access Music Therapy and to fund projects for music outreach to bring music to more young families and families with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). â€‹â€‹

Need to know

High quality music

Our classes are taught by trained musicians, we write a lot of our own repertoire and we are very against annoying sounds or backing tracks! Our classes are acoustic, and informed by the Kodaly approach and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework to keeping your child's learning at the centre of our class.

Welcoming atmosphere

We have small classes of up to 10, and lovely musical instruments to play and explore. We use occasional props or puppets to augment some songs.

Affordable prices

We keep our prices low and profits go to supporting families in need. You can expect to pay between £6.50-£9 for a class depending on the location.

Locations

Find a class near you!

  • Is there parking available?
Currently, all of our venues have parking options. This ranges from free car parks to paid on street parking, so please check with your teacher when you book a class. All of our venues have ample buggy parking so you don't need to stress about collapsing your buggy when you arrive!
  • How much are classes?
Classes for under 5's are between £6.50 to £9 per class, depending on location. This is because of different costs in venue hire. To find out how much your local class is, please email the teacher. The half term is payable in a block of 5-7 sessions.
  • How long are your classes?
Classes are 30 minutes long, and the time of the class depends on the venue. Over our 10 years of experience, we find that half an hour is the perfect amount of time for little ones to learn and stay engaged throughout all the different elements of the session.
  • What if I need to refund a class?
We can offer refunds if you let us know in good time! For example, 48 hours before a taster class or a half term booking. After this, it makes it hard for us to fill the space and we may have to take payment for the first class of the block/ your taster. If we can offer a rescheduled class then we always will, for example coming to another class during the week, or getting a bonus class off of next term's sessions. Please talk to your teacher directly to see what we can offer.
  • How do I book? And what is the commitment?
You can book a class by emailing the teacher at the venue or location you want to attend. You will find the teacher under our services tab, just click your local location. The teacher will then set you up on our register and send you an invoice for a one off taster class. If you decide to continue after your taster class, classes are bookable in half termly blocks, that's usually 5-7 weeks of classes. We take payment via BACS, or with cash or cheque in class if you prefer. Payment is due in advance of your first class.
  • Can siblings attend?
We welcome siblings in our classes! Our classes are perfect for 2 or more children under the age of 5. We've introduced a sibling discount so your second child comes for 50% of the fee, and siblings under 1 attend for free if they're in an older class. If you prefer, you're welcome to bring an extra adult with you (especially with more than 2 under 5!), to enjoy the sessions together.
