Music Therapy

Looking for some support?

Music Therapy is a clinical intervention provided by qualified therapists who are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). These sessions are for children, young people or families who are seeking support to work on non-musical aims.

The work with every child or family is unique to you and the Music Therapist. You do not need any musical experience to participate.

A space to be heard

Before the session

You will have a conversation with the therapist to give some information about your child and their needs so that we can make the session work best for you.

In a session

You might experience playing different musical instruments, singing songs together, and making up your own music. Sometimes it might sound messy, or it might sound beautiful! The therapist will connect with your child through music, and pass on some techniques for you to use at home.
