Little Piccolos is a social enterprise with 10 years of experience in delivering high-quality music classes for children. We have three services to enrich the lives of young families and SEND families with music, so if you have a child aged 0-5, or a child or young person with additional needs, you can find music that's right for you and access the wonderful opportunities music offers.
These weekly classes are attended by children aged 3 months - 5 years and their parent or care giver. Available in West London, Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire and Cheltenham. We offer fun and dynamic classes, taught by trained musicians, using the Kodaly approach. Children (and usually parents!) learn about the fundamentals of music: pulse, pitch, rhythm and tempo.
1:1 music classes for children ages 0-19 years with additional educational needs who may find group settings or more traditional musical routes difficult. Music is a powerful communicator and great way for children and young people to feel confident and connected. We use the Kodaly approach and all classes are taught by trained musicians.
Music Therapy can support children and families when words are not enough. It is a clinical intervention with a qualified therapist, to support children and young people improve their wellbeing. Some reasons why people attend may be to: develop attention skills, relieve anxiety, support development, or connect with each other.
